Machine Protection and Part Quality Control

Helm tonnage monitors incorporate the most advanced ** conditioning technology available to the industry. All systems feature built-in machine protection alarms and automatic high-low limits for online part quality monitoring and control. Choose from a variety of channel models and readouts including the embedded PC with touch screen display.

RLG Series - Low cost tonnage monitor with three selectable alarming methods is available in two or four channel models. SPC LoadGard - combines tonnage control SPC charting in one system. Histograms, x bar charts and downtime are displayed on touch screen.
SCM Autograph - Two, four or eight channel of monitoring with embedded PC touch screen and Ethernet connection for real time signature analysis. Hand Held Compass PLM-4 Portable load monitor. A valuable tool for evaluating press and die conditions.

When used with an encoder, the HM-2-SSI provides through stroke monitoring for stamping operations. High and low tracking alarms for each degree of crank angle provide optimum process control. The press curve as established by the press builder is digitized to become alarm set points in the HM-2-SSI module.
